John J. Ciafone

The son of an immigrant and a product of public schools, was born and raised in Queens. He is married with four children.

John is an Award-Winning Trial Lawyer with over 30 years of experience. He is a Certified Mediator, Small Claims Court Arbitrator, and a Guardian ad Litem in Surrogate Court. He maintains an office in Queens, serving thousands of families.

Social Commitment

John's commitment to public service is extensive. He was appointed a Judicial Hearing Officer/Administrative Law Judge for OATH and a Court Referee in the Supreme Court for a Foreclosure Proceeding. John was also elected President of Community School Board 30 and has served in all three branches of government. Furthermore, he was elected a Judicial Delegate. John Ciafone is a NYS EMT and a NYS Chaplain, servicing schools, hospitals, and senior centers, and he is Counsel to the NYS Fraternal Order of Police.

Pro Bono Work

Additionally, John is committed to pro bono work and he has handled several cases on behalf of the Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights under Law of the NY Bar Association. John has also been very active in supporting his alma mater.

John also completed the BAA Boston Marathon in 2004, 2005 and 2006.
